The Republic of Venice and its power
St. Mark's Square! Napoleon named it "the most beautiful living room in Europe", and from here we will begin with an introduction to the famous monuments that surround this unique place! We will admire the Basilica dedicated to the patron saint of the city, Saint Mark, a wonderful mix of Byzantine architecture with golden mosaics that express the wealth and power of the state, nicknamed the Golden Church! We will continue with the Doge's Palace, residence of the Doge and ancient seat of Venetian power, with the sumptuous rooms of the most important magistrates, decorated with masterpieces by the most renowned Renaissance artists, to discover not only the greatness but also the dark side of the Republic of Venice. We will also cross the famous Bridge of Sighs and then enter the dreaded prisons of the Serenissima.

Venice, capital of merchants
Walk through the characteristic Cannaregio district, to discover merchants and strangers of the past. Passing through the Jewish Ghetto, the Campo dei Mori area with the houses of the Mastelli family and the home of our local painter Tintoretto, author of most of the paintings kept in the magnificent Church of the Madonna dell'Orto. We will continue along the Ponte Chiodo, the only bridge left in Venice without balustrades, before reaching the Corte del Milion where we will learn the story of Marco Polo!
Last stop: the Fondaco dei Tedeschi!
The tour will end in Campo San Bartolomeo at the foot of the Rialto Bridge. During our walk there will be opportunities to photograph splendid views of the lagoon and secret and hidden corners, we will also be accompanied by some anecdotes and some legends of our spectacular city!

Venice, unmissable places!
A city of water and art called Serenissima. For centuries it was considered the Queen of the seas for trade between the West and the East: the capital of the Republic of Venice.
Orientation tour through which we will discover the beating heart of the city, St. Mark's Square, a unique place surrounded by monuments of great value such as St. Mark's Basilica and the ancient seat of government, the Doge's Palace: the political center of Venice.
Passing through hidden corners we will cross alleys and squares dominated by imposing religious buildings, a real open-air museum up to the Rialto area, the ancient economic power but above all the beginning of this wonderful millenary city.
The tour will end in Rialto where you can taste (independently) a delicious "cicchetto" with an aperitif in the best "bacari".

Strolling through the sestieri
Get lost in the sestieri without losing the hidden corners of the city!!!
Off the beaten track to experience the Venice of the Venetians, the true spirit of this city on the water!
In Venice there are no districts but the sestieri that is the six parts into which the city is divided. Each corner has something unique and therefore we will discover a secret Venice among curiosities, anecdotes and traditions without forgetting the importance of Carnival and the Venetian pearls that have contributed to its international fame, remembering that Venice was also a multicultural center thanks to its intense commercial traffic that still have left their marks in the city!
The tour consists of a walk that will end in St. Mark's Square or near the Rialto Bridge.

Discovering the islands of the lagoon
We will discover two of the most famous islands of the North Lagoon, rich in local crafts and with a surreal and lively atmosphere. The island of Murano, where we will savor the art of glass by visiting a furnace admiring with our eyes the hard work full of passion of the glass masters. Inside there are kept all the secrets of this ancient art! Then we will walk through the gleaming exhibition rooms of the glassworks, where it will be possible to observe prestigious artistic creations.
We will continue with the visit of the picturesque fishermen's island, Burano, stroll through its streets with colorful houses and discover the art of 7 stitches lace. It is possible to proceed for a walk on the island of Torcello, and visit the oldest place of worship in the lagoon, the Venetian-Byzantine-style Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, with its spectacular gold mosaics. From Burano it is also possible to cross the Ponte Longo and walk around the island of Mazzorbo among the vineyards of the Venissa Estate.

The Frari Church and the Scuola Grande di San Rocco
The visit will begin with the monumental Gothic church of Santa Maria Gloriosa known as the "Frari" which for centuries was the main seat of the Franciscans in Venice. The church houses masterpieces of incredible value including Titian's Altarpiece of the Assumption and the Triptych by Giovanni Bellini.
We will continue with the famous Scuola Grande di San Rocco, an ancient brotherhood founded in the 15th century, still active today, decorated with an entire cycle of canvases of biblical subjects by an exceptional artist: Jacopo Tintoretto.
